Eli led Cassie down one of the sidewalks of the 'city that never sleeps.' It was a pretty nice night, the air was a bit chilly but other then that everything seemed peacefully. He smiled at Cassie as they passed all the mortals who would likely never understand who they are in the prescense of, or that Olympus was floating just above the Empire State Building.

Cassie looked all around at the buildings, the shops, and mortals walking around but she guessed they're were a lot more during the day. She looked at Eli and kept walking. "Where should we go?" Cassie asked looking at all the buildings.

"You hungry?" He asked her as they started to come up on a McDonalds. His stomach growled a little and he realized that he wanted food....even if it was from a fast food joint. He wasn't being particularly picky at the moment....unless Cassie wanted to eat somewhere else.

Cassie nodded "Yeah, I haven't ate all day," she says to Eli. She smiled at him knowing he was hungry. She walked with Eli up to the door to McDonalds and looked inside and it looked empty.

"For a city that never sleeps, this sure is pretty empty."Eli said as he opened the door and walked in. He led Cassie to the counter and told her that it was on him.

Cassie looked around at all the empty chairs, she had never seen a McDonalds so empty. She looked at the menu board and was thinking of what she wanted.

Eli quickly placed his usual order whenever he went to McDonalds. A ten piece chicken nugget, two double cheesebugers, and two regular M&M McFlurrys. He told the cashier that that would be all and then waited for Cassie's order

"Premium Caesar Salad," Cassie told the cashier. She kept thinking and wondering why it was so empty. She looked in the back where they made the food, she looked outside people were passing but no one came in.

Eli payed the man and then soon after the food came out and he picked up the tray. He turned and led Cassie to a table where they could sit and keep an eye out incase anything happens.

Cassie sat down across from Eli and smiled at him. She didn't notice but she still had her bow, Cassie shivered "It's cold," she said.

"Yeah...too cold."Eli said and looked around. He had a bad feeling that something wasn't right here. Not just the emptiness of the place, but there was this eerie feeling that they were in serious danger. He looked down at the tray of food and then decided whether it would be ok to eat or not. Choosing his better judgement he pushed the food away.

Cassie looked at the food then noticed why he pushed it away. She looked at the counter then the chashier she turned back and shivered. She noticed no one was outside or at least in front of the building. She kept looking around thinking something was wrong.

"Come on. We're getting out of here before something happens."Eli said to her quietly so the employee's wouldn't here. He got up and walked around the table to Cassie and grabbed her hand.

Cassie got up, she held Eli's hand. She looked behind her still feeling like something was watching or there was something going to happen.

Eli turned to leave and suddenly he is ripped from Cassie's grip and flung across the restraunt. 'I knew it. This place was too quiet for there not to be trouble.' He thought to himself as he tried to get up and figure out what was going on.

Cassie slowly went for her bow and didn't turn around. When, she went to grab it, it was at the table How did it get there? she thought to herself. She froze Well, this day just got... what's the word? she thought she just stood there thinking and she knew she still had her arrows.

"What the f*ck was that?"Eli asked as he looked up. His vision was blurred a bit and he couldn't make out what he was seeing. All he could tell was that it was large, angry, and had many heads.

Cassie turned around "How do you kill a Hydra again?" she asked aloud. She jumped over a seat then made her way to her bow. She grabbed her bow and grabbed 3 arrows and pointed them at the Hydra.

"Unless you got Medusa's head lieing around, then we are going to need a torch and a sword. God's why did I not bring the gord with me."He yelled to her and he facepalmed a bit at his own stupidity.

"Damn it!" Cassie yelled she shot one of her arrows at one of the Hydra's eyes. She backed up a bit she saw the food sitting there that they didn't eat. What if it really is poisoned! she thought. "Do you think poison could kill a Hydra?" Cassie asked backing up if the Hydra got closer.

"Maybe. But I'm not entirely sure." Eli said understanding what she meant. His visin had cleared up much more now and could see he was about to be taken out again.

Cassie grabbed one of her arrows and stuck it through a burger. She taunted it infront of the Hydra then jumped on a table and jumped down behind the Hydra. "Come here," she told the Hydra and waved the burger on the arrow in front of her.

Eli tried to regain his balance just before the head came at him. He drew his dagger and continued wishing he had brought that gord of sand he keeps in his cabin, just as the head came at him and he tucked and rolled out of the way.

Cassie kept waving the burger "Yummy burger that a Hydra likes," she said to one of the Hydra's heads. She kept waving the burger then after a few minutes she threw it at the head. She waited for something to happen... anything to happen.

Eli got picked up by the head that came at him while another head reached out and ate the burger. The neck of the head that held Eli coiled around him and started trying to crush him. He yelled out in dieing, agony at the pain he felt.
